The tallships ‘Vliegende Hollander’ and the ‘Flying Dutchman’ are moored during the winter period in the Houthaven (van Diemen Kade) in Amsterdam. During this period the vessels act as unique and beautiful youthhostel accommodations. Attractive, fun and very affordable.
- The ‘Vliegende Hollander’ has a total of 34 beds distributed over 7 double cabins and 2 x 5 x 4 double cabins all equipped with wash basin with hot and cold water and central heating. There are 6 shared showers and toilets. More about the Flying Dutchman ┬╗

You can hire a group with up to 62 people ( ‘Vliegende Hollander’ 34 and ‘ Flying Dutchman’ 28) the total accommodation, using the kitchen is permitted. Both ships have have central heating, and a nice lounge and bar where the nautical fun place to be and you can access from the bustle of the city.
The Houthaven is a beautiful location ten minutes walk from the center. There are enough parkingplaces, which is unique so close to the center.
